Abstract

PURPOSE:To obviate changing of characteristics at the mounting and dismounting, make mounting and dismounting simple and easy and enable connection to be made stably and surely by providing the terminal device which fixes and integrates a glass fiber cable and a photoelectric element by letting them contact. CONSTITUTION:An LED 2 is soldered to the case 4 of LED by way to a card substrate 5. A glass fiber cable 1 is also fixed to the LED case 4 by means of a fixing fitting 6 to contact the optical end face of the LED 2 and the end face of the glass fiber cable 1 thereby firmly fixing and integration both. Next, the pulg side 7 of an ordinary electrical connector is connected to the connection terminals of the LED 2 by soldering and the plug side 7 of the connector is mechanically fixed to the LED case 4. Next, the jack side 8 of the connector is provided on the other side which requires connection and is corresponded to the plug. Thereby, mounting and dismounting may be readily performed and changing of characteristics at the mounting and dismounting may be prevented.
