Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the train running efficiency by providing a speed collator for comparing actual train speed with instructed limit speed, a brake detection relay for releasing when the actual train speed exceeds the instructed limit speed, and a brake synchronizing circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a speed collator 3 of No. 2 system of three systems detects the fact that the train speed initially exceeds the instructed limit speed to render a brake detection relay 4 to become in released state, brake synchronization command is applied to speed collators 3 in Nos. 1 and 3 systems to thereby lower the instructed limit speed by predetermined livel. When two or more of the three systems release the brake detection relays 4, a brake output is generated from an ATC unit. If all the brake detection relays 4 of the respective systems are released, the contacts BDCR of the system brake coincidence detection relay 9 are released to thereby shut off the brake synchronization command to be applied to the respective collators 3. Thus, it can stably operate of the control system of the automatic train controllers in multiple construction and reduce the deceleration of the train at braking time so as to thereby improve the train running efficiency.
