Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve the reduction in the number of parts by driving a buzzer without using any externally mounted transistors. CONSTITUTION:Two output terminals 110, 111 are provided to an alarm shaping circuit 4 and a buzzer 5 is connected between these output terminals 110, 111. Then, when the outputs f1 thru f3 from the frequency dividing part are inputted to the control gate CG synthesized by a NAND gate, inverter and exclusive-OR circuit, the signal having been modulated by the output f1 is outputted at every 1/f3 second only for the period of 1/f2, and the phases thereof become mutually antiphases at the sounding of the buzzer. At the quiescence of sounding, the phases become mutually in-phase and appear in the output terminals 110, 111 via predriving inverters 117, 118 and driving inverters 115, 116 after nodes 113, 114, whereby the buzzer is driven. Hence, the need for any externally mounted transistors is eliminated.
