Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the betterment of the linearity with a simple constitution by performing the feed forward control with skilful use of the charactristics of the FET element featuring the dual gate structure. CONSTITUTION:Coupler 4 is attached to amplifying step 1 via the microwave band FET element connected to the circuit at the front step as well as between amplifying step 2 and 3 using the microwave band FET element featuring the dual gate structure. The signals detected by coupler 4 are then detected (5) and eliminated for their distortions via LPF6. The output is applied to expansion circuit 8 which delivers the expansion effect via DC amplifier 7, and then the output voltage is biased negatively to be applied to the 2nd gate of the FET elements at step 2 and 3. Owing to application of such feed forward structure, high-linearity output signal d(d': conventional signal) with reduced distortion. At the same time, the 3rd and 5th mutual modulation product characteristics e and f are improved more than conventional e' and f'.
