Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a fault caused by an interference of static electricity, with a generating quantity of static electricity, due to a drift charge in the equipment, made known, by means of sampling only an insulating fluid from an object equipment to be supervised.
CONSTITUTION: With an oil pick-up valve 4 made open, a sampling process of the fluid will be operated. The process of sampling is made to last in such manner that the fluid flow into a transition tank 15, simultaneously with a circulation started by an operation of circulating pump 17 for sampling, until a suitable quantity of the fluid beginning to overflow in an overflow container 10. Thereafter, with the pump 17 stopped, the fluid (sample) is conducted into near a center of manometer 18 by opening valves 11, 12, with a state of measurement provided by closing valves 4 to 8. Under this condition, with the pump 17 operated to circulate the fluid, made sampling, in the circulating path, on the basis of generating quantity of static electricity in a measuring pipe 14 housed in a drift charge measuring unit 13, the generating quantity of static electricity will be obtained due to the insulating fluid in a transformer A.
