Abstract

PURPOSE:To reproduce the attendant feeling by mixing and amplifying the output signals of microphones, which are attached to the right and left ear portions and face portions of a listener, after they are fed through a delay circuit and an HPF, so that they may be listened to the right and left headphones through a transmission characteristics compensating circuit. CONSTITUTION:The sounds from a sound source 13 are collected at three positions of a dummy head microphone body 32, i.e., the lift and right microphones 34 and 35, which are arranged at the left and right ear portions, and the additional microphone 33 which is arranged at the face portion. The output signals of the microphones 34 and 35 are amplified at 310 and 311 and fed to mixing amplifiers 312 and 313. On the other hand, the output signals of the microphone 33 are fed through an amplifier 36, a delay circuit 37, an HPF 38 and an attenuator 39 to the amplifiers 312 and 313. The resultant superposed signals are recorded in a recorder 314 and fed to equizers 315 and 316 so that their transmission characteristics may be equalizers. The signals thus equalized are fed through amplifiers 317 and 318 to left and right headphones 319 and 320.
