CONSTITUTION:After compensating lead wirs 2 are laid to thermocouple 1, the resistance value Rl of the compensating lead wires 2 is measured. The relations among the Rl thereof, forward resistance Rl1, backward resistance Rl2, error delta by the voltage E of a battery 4 for detecting the disconnection of compensating lead wires and thermoelectromotive force (e) of the thermocouple 1 are obtained by an arithmetic control unit 1c, by which an error curve is obtained. Based on the error curve, correction is applied to the output voltage V in a process input unit 1b.
