Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to check the operation state of equal-echo device accurately in a short time by obtaining only equal-echo signals, which are above the level of a reference signal, by digitizing the equal-echo signal of the information receiver of a weather radar, etc. CONSTITUTION:A reflected signal from antenna 1 is received by receiver 2, whose reception output is alternated with a signal from test-signal generator 4 through switch 3 and then supplied to digital equal-echo device 5. An analog signal from switch 3 is converted by AD converter 51 into a digital signal, which is averaged. The output of this averaging unit 52 is supplied to level correcting unit 53, where signal-level correction corresponding to the distance is made, and then supplied to comparator 54. By this comparator 54, only signals above the reference level signal are led out and supplied to both video amplifier 55 and display unit 6. Then, they are supplied from video amplifier 55 to indicator 7, where they are displayed, and the output of comparator 54 is supplied to memory unit 62, so that display unit 63 will display the distance measurement value.
