Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase reliability of a device by making the threshold level of a waveform shaping circuit variable and obtaining almost the same pulse width of the output signal even if the intensity of illumination of an incandescent lamp is changed.
CONSTITUTION: The illumination of incandescent lamp 1 is detected by light receiving element 4 for standard illumination and the output is obtained by amplifier circuit 5 for standard illumination and is applied as a threshold level to terminal A of waveform shaping circuit 6. On the other hand, the information of information media is read by light receiving element 2, amplified 3 and entered to terminal B of waveform shaping circuit 6. When output signal b obtains almost the same pulth width by making the threshold level of waveform shaping circuit 6 variable independently of the variation of illumination of incandescent lamp 1, reliability of the device can be increased.
