Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the resonance near edge to outside of audibile range and form a speaker of a wide frequency range by making the thickness of the flat part connecting a dome form diaphragm and edge more than twice the thickness of the diaphragm and edge. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of the flat part 3 between a dome form diaphragm 1 and edge 2 is set twice the thickness of the diaphragm 1 and edge 2. In the results of calculations (sound pressure-frequency characteristics) by the finite elements of this case, A, B, C indicate the sound pressure characteristics of the edge 2, diaphragm 1 and the entire part thereof, respectively, and the resonance near the edge 2 is produced near 26K Hz, which has moved to the higher region than the neighborhood of 16K Hz of the case when the thickness of the flat part 3 is the same as that of the diaphragm 1 and edge 2.
