Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate a probability of anomalous heating and/or destruction even for a use of cheap transistor with a relatively long turn-off time, with the operating characteristic improved.
CONSTITUTION: In a conventional power unit, between an output of square wave generator 1 and a base of transistor 3, 3', is connected an integrator 8, and in series from top and bottom output end of said integrator 8, is connected a constant voltage diode 9, 9' further connected a protective relay 10, 10'. With an operating wave form of each element being as shown in the drawing, after the transistor 3 is perfectly turned off, the transistor 3' is turned on, and after the transistor 3' is perfectly turned off, the transistor 3 is turned on, resulting in no generation of faults likely of anomalous heating and/or damage of the transistor 3,3', thus capable of using a transistor of low price with a relatively long turn-off time.
