Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the thermal insulation charactristics of a metallic sheath at extruding time from lowering by extruding to coat the sheath via the metallic tape radiation insulation layer on oil immersed insulator layer using synthetic paper or the like of thermoplastic of low dielectric loss.
CONSTITUTION: A metallic sheath is extruded and coated via a metallic tape radiation insulation layer on oil immersed insulator layer formed by using sunthetic paper or tape of thermoplastic of low dielectric loss. Radiation insulator layer of aluminum foil is provided on oil immersed insulator layer of 20mm thick composed of polypropylene film of biaxially orientation of 0.025mm thick and polyethylene synthetic paper, for example, with an aluminum sheather extruded and coated on the outer periphery tereof. Thus, it can prevent insulator layer forming material from melting or thermally contracting due to the heat at sheath extruding time so as to prevent the decrease of insulating characteristics of the cable impulse destroy strength or the like.
