Abstract
PURPOSE: To hold a bearing stably without excessively-long-amplitude grooving vibration under high-speed running by using a vibration isolator of a thrust bearing held by a ginbal holder.
CONSTITUTION: A ginbal holder 8 holds the lower end of a rotation shaft 2 for which a radial compressor 1 and a rotor 3 are provided. The rotation shaft is hold by radial bearings 2a, 2b. The ginbal holder 8 consists of a ginbal ring 9, a disc thrust plate 10, and ginbal pivotb 11a, 11b. The disc thrust plate 10 connected to a thrust bearing 5 by a pivot 6 is provided coaxially inside with the ginbal ring. Two oil dampers 12a and visous dampers 12b are relatively provided at each vibrating point on the ginbal ring 9 and the thrust plate 10 and at the other points between the devices 7.
