CONSTITUTION: Before discharged into atmosphere through the expansion chambers 20, 21, exhaust gas expands in the primary diffuser part 13 and the negative pressure affects an exhaust port 1 to help scavenging. A throttle part 15, the secondary diffuser part 17, and a thin ringular passage 11 connecting the both parts 15, 17 are shaped between an outer shell 16 and inner shell 14 so that eshaust gas and pressure wave are diffused and pass through the extremely narrow spaaced ringuler passage 11 of a large diametr. Combination functions of distributing noise source, muffling noise by the passage wall when exhaust passes through the passage, and colling the exhaust during passing can reduce exhaust noise.
