Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the amount of clean water for washing a semipermeable film, by pre-washing the film in wate washing water to be treated and then finish- washing the film in the clean water.
CONSTITUTION: The waste washing water is supplied from a collecting vessel 1 to a hollow semipermeable film unit 5 and treated by reverse osmosis. Concentrated water is supplied to a circulating vessel 8 and caused by a high-pressure circulating pump 9 to circulate and be concentrated to a desired degree. During the circulating treatment, a sponge ball unit 14 is operated to wash the film. After the concentration, the concentrated waste water is drained into a vessel 17. A pump 2 is operated with low pressure at first to pre-wash the semipermeable film in the treated waste washing water. Thereafter, another pump 18 is operated to finish-wash the film in the clean water from a vessel 19
