Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the safety by checking the genuineness of the speed control signal even when the track circuit is shortcircuited by a train in an automatic train control device designed to transmit the signal through the circuit for detecting the train.
CONSTITUTION: A rail 1 is divided into a plurality of track circuits Ta and Tb which are electrically connected to each other with impendance bonds 2 and 3. An ATC signal from a generation circuit is transmitted to the track circuit Tb through the bond 2 while it is received by a detection circuit 6 of a train detector through the bond 3. In such a device, a detection loop 7 is provided on the side of transmitting the ATC signal to the track circuit Tb to detect the signal while a circuit 8 is provided to sheck whether the ATC signal normally flows through the track circuit Tb or not by using an output signal of the detection loop 7 and the output signal of the generation circuit 4
