Abstract
PURPOSE:To grind and polish in short period the inside of metal pipe of small diameter and long run by the combination of the friction by the grinding material and the electrolyte flow. CONSTITUTION:In the outer surface of a grinding tool 2, an exposing electrode 3 and a flexible and rough grinding material 4 are alternately placed and the grinding tool 2 is inserted into a metal pipe 1 and then an electrolyte 9 is injected from an injection hole 5 installed in the grinding tool 2. Besides, a grinding particle 8 is mixed with the electrolyte or is sticked to the grinding material 4 and the grinding tool 2 or the metal pipe 1 rotate and make the reciprocating motion so as to grind and polish the inside of the metal pipe by the friction of the grinding material 4 as well as by the electrolyte flow.
