Abstract
PURPOSE: Gas feed means of double pipes with specific structure is equipped in the width direction thereby making the umformalization of gas temperature and flow in the width direction of spinning and enabling the production of nonwoven mats of large width.
CONSTITUTION: Two holes corresponding to outer pipes 5 are bored in die 2 along orifice 3 on both sides and inner pipes 6 are inserted into outer pipes 5. The ends of pipes 6 are connected with pipes 5 through flanges and sealed. Inlet 7 for feeding heated gas comes to on both ends of inner pipes 6, which have holes 8 for distributing the heated gas which are agrranged on a straight line along the width direction of spinning. Pipes 5 and 6 form gap space 9 and pipe 5 are provided with uniformly distributed exhaust holes 10 along orifice 3 in the opposite direction to that of holes 8. Gas leading means 11 is fitted to the under part of holes 10 and the top end together with the top end of die 2 form two lips 13. The outside of the device is covered with an insulated heater 15.
