Abstract

PURPOSE: To continuously supply hot water by widely regulating the temperature of the hot water by adjusting the opening of a gas valve by means of differential pressure vial Venturi effect at large volume supplying time and via orifice effect at small volume supplying time.
CONSTITUTION: When a hot water cock 22 is opened in a hot water supply device, there occurs differential pressure by a Venturi tube 39 to move the diaphragm 31 of a differential pressure control mechanism 30 toward a low pressure chamber 33 side to thereby open a water pressure responsive gas valve 42 so as to start burning at a hot water main burner 5. An actuator 36 is mostly protruded from an opera?tion chamber 35 at large volume hot water supplying time to thereby supply large volume of hot water. When water supply volume is redued, the differential pressure at the Venturi tube 39 becomes low to move the diaphragm 31 toward a high pressure chamber 32 side so as to reduce the gap between the actuator 36 and a valve port 34 to cause the pressure difference between the high pressure chamber 32 and the low pressure chamber 33 to become large by means of orifice effect. Thus, the diaphragm 31 is prevented from moving further toward the high pressure chamber 32 side to cause the gas valve 42 to be retained in open state to therby continuously supply hot water high temperature
