Abstract

PURPOSE:To hold a conductor position at the center of a insulator along the direction of its lenght on an average by vibrating the conductor, to be put into an insulator sheathing device, perpendicular to a core wire. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 8 to be sheathed is inserted into a mobable pipe put into an insulator sheating device where the conductor is sheathed with insulator 3 injected into a housing between a nipple 5 and a die 6 of the divice, and flowed out from the tip of the nipple 5 to finish sheathing. In this operation, a mobable pipe 7 is so vibrated in a perpendicular direction to a core wire by a vibrator 10 that a position of the conductor 8 is moved in the insulator. The position of the movable pipe, and an amplitude and frequency of vibration to be given to the pipe are controlled in order to hold the conductor 8 to be set the center of the insulator on an average.
