Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the eccentricity under bending and reduce vibration and noises, by providing pivots in an outer member and making pivot guide grooves on an inner member. CONSTITUTION:The outer member 4 is provided on an end of one shaft 2 and fitted with leg pieces 7, which project inward and are fitted with spherical surface rollers 8. The inner member 5 is mounted on an end of another shaft 3 and provided with the guide grooves 6, in which the spherical shaft rollers 8 are engaged. Since the distance R between the center of the inner member 5 and that of each spherical surface roller 8 is less than that conventional cases, the eccentricity of the former shaft under bending is less. This reduces the whirl due to the eccentricity, thus curtailing the vibration and noises due to the whirl.
