Abstract

PURPOSE: To heighten a heat insulation effect and reinforce an inner box, by removing air from among a sheet, a coolant pipe and a film before forming a heat insulating box.
CONSTITUTION: The coolant pipe 2 of circular or elliptic cross section is placed on the sheet 1. Exhaust holes 6 are connected to the gaps between the sheet 1 and the coolant pipe 2. A thermoplastic film 3 slightly larger than the sheet 1 is heated to a temperature of 80 to 180°C and is covered on the sheet 1 and the coolant pipe 2. At the same time, air is removed through the exhaust holes 6. The thermoplastic film 3 is quickly cooled after covered, so that the film 3 is prevented from waving. The sheet is thereafter formed for the inner and outer boxes. A foaming heat insulator 9 is filled between both the boxes. The mechanical strength of the heat exchanger 4 is heigthened by the heat insulator located between the straight parts of the coolant pipe 2
