Abstract

PURPOSE: To relieve a compressor of compression load and thereby improve cooling efficiency by connecting an accumulator (situated between condenser and evaporrator) to the cylinder chamber of the compressor through a capillary tube, and forming a small hole in the cylinder chamber wall so that gaseous coolant can be returned from the accunulator to the cylinder chamber through the capillary tube.
