PURPOSE: To provide an internal combustion engine wherein ignition is improved, the speed of combustion is increased, and fuel cost and production of NOx are reduced by constituting same such that fuel air mixture in a main combustion chamber is provided with turbulence and heat by jet flames and besides combusted gases and fuel air mixture are combusted together in an intermixed condition.
