Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to completely restrain the drift in the temperature of a constant temperature bath due to an ambient temperature by detecting the temperature change in the ambient air and a heat medium so that the temperature compensation of a heat exchanger is added in response to the differential signals between the two detected outputs.
CONSTITUTION: The temperature required by a constant temperature object 1 such as a constant temperature bath is set by a temperature adjustor 7. If a heat exchanger 2 is operated to establish the temperature so that a heat medium is circulated through a pipe 3 by a pump 4, the heat medium subjected to the heat exchange by the exchanger 2 holds the temperature of the object 1 at a constant level. On the other hand, the ambient temperature and the temperature of the medium fed to the object 1 are detected by means of an ambient temperature sensor 6 and a heat medium temperature sensor 5, respectively. The sensors 5 and 6 constitute the sides of a bridge circuit, and the output of this circuit is amplified while varying in accordance with the respective temperatures so that the differential signals obtainable from the differential amplifier compensate the temperature control signals of the adjustot 7.
