Abstract

CONSTITUTION: This freezer is equipped with a compressor 2 for raising the pressure of the refigerant gas sucked from an evaporator 1, a condenser 3 for liquefying by cooling with cooling water the refrigerant gas whose pressure has been raised, a reducing valve 4 for expanding liquefied refrigerant, and said evaporator 1 for evaporating the refrigerant having expanded and obtaining cool water by taking from water the latent heat generated on that gasification. A liquid receiver 5 is provided between said condenser 3 and a reducing means 4, and automatic valves 6 and 7 at the inlet and outlet of said liquid receiver 5. Further, a condensing unit 8 is fitted between said condenser 3 and liquid receiver 5, and a check valve 9 in the communication piping between said unit 8 and liquid receiver 5.
