Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of the measurement of the frictional force of CRD, and to shorten test time, by selecting CRD by the switching operation of a change-over switch and by measuring differential pressure between an inserted pipe and a drawn pipe by mounting remote control valves to the bent pipes of CRD and connecting the valves to the change-over switch.
CONSTITUTION: The inserted and drawn bent pipes 3, 4 of control-rod drive mechamism CRD are each connected to inserted and drawn header pipes 11, 12, and header bent pipes 19, 20 are installed to the header pipes 11, 12. Remote control valves 13, 14, 21, 22 are mounted to these bent pipes 3, 4, 19, 20. Pressure extracting pipes 15, 16 are disposed to the header pipes 11, 12, and connected to an operation panel 29 through high-pressure horses 7, 8. CRD is selected by means of a change-over switch 27A of the operation panel 29, water is poured into the device, control rods are inserted and drawn, differential pressure between an inserted pipe 1 and a drawn pipe 22 is measured and the frictional force of CRD is measured. Test time can be shortened because CRD is selected by changing over the switch.
