Abstract

CONSTITUTION: This scanner is constituted by speed detecting photoelectric converters 5 and 6 consisting of photoelectric conversion elements 7 to 10 and 11 to 14 whose interval is set to l on the line parallel to the original, scanning direction, holding circuits 15 to 18 which hold output signals of photoelectric converter 5, differential amplifiers 19 to 22, diodes 23 to 30, amplifiers 31 and 32, minimum value decision circuit 33 which outputs a timing signal when the difference between output signals of photoelectric converters 5 and 6 is minimum, counter 34 which starts the count operation by the timing signal to start the self-scanning of solid scanning element 4.
