Abstract
PURPOSE: To lower saturated magnetization value without damaging good squareform hystersis characteristics, etc., by including definite amounts of Ni and Al as the main components and also definite amounts of Zn, Co, and Mn as the subsidiary components in a lithium ferrite.
CONSTITUTION: A lithium-nickel ferrite which is prepared by mixing, molding, and baking a mixture of oxides in a desired proportion or of carbonates, oxalates, etc., convertible into oxides easily by heating as raw materials and also has the following basic composition; that is, a high-frequency magnetic element having the composition (Li05Fe05)1-a-b-c NiaZnbCocAlxMnyFe2-x-yO4 (where 0.025≤ a≤0.4, O≤b≤0.15, O≤c≤0.018, O≤ x≤0.5, and 0.01≤y≤O). If necessary, a miximum of 20 mole % Li (in terms of Li2O) and a maximum of 1.2wt% Bi2O3 are added to the aforesaid composition in order to improve coercive force and dielectric loss.
