Abstract
PURPOSE: To automatically control the monitor interchange and the block of a signal system during the reproduction with the use of a simple construction by making use of the signals for judging the propriety of the horizontal and vertical synchronisms of the complex synchronous signals which are reproduced and separated from a magnetic tape.
CONSTITUTION: Complex synchronous signals are separated by a signal separating circuit 12 from the quasi-video signals which are reproduced by a VTR 10 so that the vertical and horizontal synchronisms are judged by vertical and horizontal synchronism judging circuits 23A and 23B. Upon the malfunction, error signals are generated from those circuits 23A and 23B. In response to the error signals, switches 25 and 26 are interchanged through a change-over control circuit 24, and a muting gate is colsed by a muting control circuit 27. Thus, a reproducing system is automatically connected with a recording system so that the monitoring operating can be accomplished, and the reproducing output system is muted to reproduce no malfunction signals. As a result, the monitor interchange and the block of the signal system during the reproduction can be automatically controlled easily and reliably with the use of the simple construction resorting to no manual switch nor complex circuit.
