Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an insulated electric wire of high humidity and temperature resisting characteriscics by winding a conductor with a basic material consisting of a polymer sheet having an imide group and a porous mica sheet, pasted together by means of a special silicone resin, and impregnating it with an epoxy-isocyanate varnish.
CONSTITUTION: A polymer sheet having an imide group in its molecular structure, such as a polyimide film to be obtained from an anhydride of pyromellitic acid and diaminodiphenyl ether, is pasted together with a porous mica sheet by means of a silicone resin having a silanol group, and thereby an insulating basic material is formed. This basic material is wound around a conductor. After this, this is impregnated with an insulating eoxy-isocynate varnish consisting of one equivalent weight of a polyfuctional epoxy compound and 1.5 to 25 equivalent weights of a polyfunctional isocyanate compound, and then it is solidified. By this, an insulated electric wire having high humidity resistance heat resistance of H-class to C-class can be obtained.
