Abstract

PURPOSE: To upgrade the rail elasticity beyond the limit while reducing the amount of costly elastomer filling liquid.
CONSTITUTION: A foamed board 2 is glued on the undersurface of a rail support body 3 such as slabs and sleepers with an adhesive or a adhesive tape. The foamed board 1 employs urethane, polyethylene foamed product or the like which is highly elastic with a large deformation but low in the load. Numerous through holes are made on the board. An elastomer filling liquid which develops a solid rubber elasticity after hardened is injected into a clearance between the rail support body and the base 5 of the rail and then, hardened whereby an elastic filled layer is formed. In this manner, the layer 4 composed of a hardened portion 1' in the hole 1 of the foamed board 2 and a hardened portion on the undersurface thereof. Accordingly, the rail support body 3 is supported by a embossed filled layer 4, thereby improving the elasticity of the rail.
