CONSTITUTION: In the air heating operation, when the heat collection is difficult due to bad weather, a three-direction valve 11 is switched onto the bypass circuit side 15 and a four-direction valve 4 is switched to the air heating cycle by a water temperature sensor or an indoor intake air temperature sensor which is provided in the water piping upstream of a water-air heat exchanger 10 and a bypass circuit 15. As a result, a compressor 3 is driven so that the cold medium in a cold medium- water heat exchanger 5 which is the lower pressure side is heat exchanged with the low temperature water within a heat accumulating vessel. Further, with the air of a cold medium-air heat exchanger 6, the condensing temperature of a cold medium- air heat exchanger 9 which works as a condenser in an indoor unit 2 is raised high, thereby maintaining a good air heating ability.
