Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An inexpensive photographic imaging lens 6 whose focal surface is A-A' is disposed between an optical fiber array 8 whose one end is disposed very close to a display picture plane 7 being an image plane and a polyherdral mirror 5 which rotates at a constant speed in the arrow direction. The other end of the optical fiber array 8 is so disposed on the focal surface A-A' that the beam spots enter respective optical fibers 9. Thereby, the beam spots which are formed at irregular spacings on the focal surface A-A' through the polyhedral mirror 5 and imaging lens 6 are so transmitted as to make the spots of an equal spacing on the display picture plane through the optical fiber array 8, thus the light beam scanner of good quality wherein the spacings and diameters of the spots are made uniform may be obtained at low cost.
