Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a gasket of corrosion-proof with the both points of excellence provided in elastomer gasket and metal gasket, by the method of coating or evaporating or plating of a metal, with a corrosion-proof for the circulating gas, onto surfaces of the elastomer gasket.
CONSTITUTION: With an elastomer 1 positioning in the center, in its periphery is fully thinly applied a coating of the metal, rich in ductility and malleability further with a quality of fluoride gas resistance and hydrogen fluoride resistance. In such construction, almost the same rigidity as the gasket made only by an elastomer enables a use of the same tightening flange and bolt as that for the elastomer gasket, and a quantity of deformation can be fully provided.
