Abstract
PURPOSE: The title polypropylene resin composition having improved impact resistance, obtained by adding a specific additive to a blend of polypropylene resin and calcium carbonate.
CONSTITUTION: A) 100 parts by wt.% of a blend of a) 80W40 wt.%, preferably 75W45 wt.% of polypropylene resin containing not less than 50 wt.% of polypropylene and b) 20W60 wt.%, preferably 25W55 wt.% of calcium carbonate having particle diameters of 0.4W2.0 μ is blended with B) 1.5W10 parts by wt. of an alkaline (earth) metallic salt or an aluminum salt of a 6W20C fatty acid in a molten state.
