PURPOSE:To transfer uneven patterns on the mold to an article via a stamping foil and to produce any complicated pattern very simply, by injection molding a synthetic resin into a cavity with the uneven patterns to which the foil is attached. CONSTITUTION:Uneven patterns 3 are formed on the inner surface of the female mold 1 by engraving, stamping or etching, and the stamping foil 5 made of a metallic foil is fitted into the inner surface of the mold 1. A synthetic resin is injected from the inlet 6 into the cavity between the male and female molds 2 and 1, and compression molded to form given metallic patterns on the surface of the injection- molded article 7 transferred from the female mold 1 through the stamping foil 5. EFFECT:Complicated solid patterns can be transferred very easily from the female mold with a sharply reduced cost of surface processing of the injection molded article.
