Abstract

PURPOSE: To effect the visible display with the use of a simple construction by controlling the lighting number of light emitting elements with the voltage according to the reel rotational angle and by controlling the lighting operations of the elements according to the revolutions of the reel.
CONSTITUTION: A disk, which performs one rotation at most in response to the let-off reel at the beginning and end of the tape winding operation, is arranged with sector patterns P1 to P5 in the form of a concentric circle in accordance with the angle of rotations. On the other hand, the disk of the same revolutions as the lef-off reel is formed with a pattern P6, which extends all over the circumference, and a partial pattern P7 such that the resistance between the patterns P1, P2 and so on and the pattern P6 are set at different levels. As a result, by the patterns P1 to P5 and the pattern P6, the light emitting diodes L1 to L5 of display means 15 are consecutively lit through a control circuit 14 to increase the lit number in accordance with the reel rotation angle so that the tape position can be visibly displayed with the use of a simple construction. The diodes L1 to L5 thus lit are flashed through a time control switching circuit 13 by the connection according to the revolutions of the reel between the patterns P1 to P5 and the pattern P7 thereby to display the tape run.
