CONSTITUTION:Inside of the operating side chock 13, and the driving side chock 13', both being held between the posts 12, and on the operating side of the roll 2 being born by the bearings 4, 5, the hydraulic adjuster 8 is installed as the traverse rigidity setting controller for the rolling mill, which can pressure from one side; on the driving side, the ordinary mechanical adjuster 17 for the longitudinal position is installed as the roll gap setting controller; when the amount of adjustment of longitudinal position of the roll is relatively large, the mechanical adjuster 17 is used; when the adjustment is small, the hydraulic adjuster 8 is used for adjustment.
