Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the reduction and stabilize the electrostatic contrast by containing a involatile liquid substance in a photoconductive layer in which photoconductive powders are dispersed and contained in a binding resin.
CONSTITUTION: A photoconductive layer, which contains 100 wt. parts of a photoconductive material, especially, 5 to 20 wt. parts of a binding resin having a glass transition point higher than 50°C, an organic involatile liquid substance having a boiling point higher than 250°C such as dimethl phthalate in an quantity of 1 to 10 wt.% of the binding resin, is applied in a thickness of about 10 to 50 μ to a suitable substrate. An insulating layer having a thickness of 0.1 to 50 μ may be formed thereon.
