Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a multifunction protective relay wherein lines of respective detection circuits can be commonly used, and various detection circuits can be connected to each other in the same construction, thereby simplifying the circuit construction without necessitating considerations on the impedance matching.
CONSTITUTION: A release relay 8 and a capacitor C connected in series are connected between a power source Vcc having an appropriate impedance and the ground E, and the release relay 8 is operated by a discharge current of the capacitor C, and when detection circuits 10 through 12 of the same kind or different kinds, connected between the power source Vcc and the ground E operate, the power source Vcc and the ground E are short-circuited by low impedance. According to this arrangement, lines of respective detection circuits can be commonly used, and detection circuits of various kinds can be connected to each other in the same construction, and furthermore there is no need to consider impedance matching.
