Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the effect of wiring resistances by using a converter consisting of a constant current source and two operational amplifier at the time of converting the resistance values of the 3-wire type resistor having a first wiring at one end of the resistor and second and third wirings commonly at the other end.
CONSTITUTION: A temperature measuring resistor 1 is connected by wirings L1 thru L3 to an electric signal converting part B and is supplied with a constant current from a constant current source 3. The wirings L1, L2 are connected to the positive phase terminals of a first operational amplifier A1 and a second operational amplifier A2, and the wiring L3 is connected to the common line COM of A1, A2. Divided voltages through resistances R1 thru R4 are respectively applied to the anti- phase terminals of A1, A2. As a result, by selecting the relations of the resistances R1 thru R4 so as to satisfy the specific conditions, the output voltage proportional to the resistance value of the temperature measuring resistor 1 may be obtained as the output of the operational amplifier A1 without the influence by wiring resistances r1 thru r3.
