Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The multiple signals of multichannel modulating signals and control signals generated by the signal modulating-demodulating circuit 2 of the circuit peripheral part are applied to the signal modulating-demodulating circuit 2 of the rotary magnetic head part via rotating transformer 3. The recording-reproducing amplifiers 8 ... of respective channels are changed over to recording operation by the control signals from this circuit 4 and the signals of the respectively corresponding channels are applied to respective channel magnetic heads 9 ... The reproduction is also accomplished in the similar manner. On the other hand, required DC power is supplied from the rectifier circuit 7 of the rotary magnetic head part coupled via rotating transformer 6 to the AC power source 5 of the peripheral circuit part.
