Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate normally monitoring plural power sources by the procedure in which series circuit consisting of rectifying element and DC power source for detection is connected in the direction of obstructing the outflow of current from power source to be detected and at the same time its one end is earthed in order to obviate the needs for switching operation.
CONSTITUTION: When the voltages of the DC power sources 5A11 and 5A12 for detection are set up to smaller ones than that of the DC power source 1A1 to be monitored in case where there is no earth fault or earth fault contact, the rectifying elements 10A11 and 10A12 are in inverse-characteristic state and thus the current flowing in the series circuits 11A11 and 11A12 is zero. The same is true of the AC system. When an earth fault occurred in the DC system, current flows and then detected by the current detector 7A12. In the case of earth fault in the AC system, the current is detected by the current detectors 7B11 and 7B12.
