Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent damage of contents by reducing the drop head of the content by the use of a box inverter which inverts boxes while covering their opening and then gradually uncovers the opening.
CONSTITUTION: Boxes 15 fed by a transfer coveyer 13 are fed between a drum 1 and a guide member 21 by rollers 43. With the opening of the box 15 covered by a cushion member 5, the box 15 moves upward while the drum 1 rotates. At the upmost position, the box 15 is inverted state with the opening faced down. When the inverted box 15 has reached the starting end of a carry-out conveyor 25, it is nipped by belts 31 and carried out. When the box 15 is transfered onto the conveyor 25, the down-faced opening of the box gradually parts from the cushion member 5. Therefore the content 24 passes through a gap 27, rolls down along the peripheral surface of the drum 1, is fed onto a guide plate 39 by a kick-out roller 41, and is carried out by a belt 37.
