Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a composition capable of sintering at a temperature less than 1000 deg.C and having a high dielectric constant, a small dielectric loss and a high specific resistance by adding one or more than two kinds of Mn, Mg, Co, Fe, Cr, Ni, and Zn to main ingredients comprising iron, lead tungstate and iron, lead niobate. CONSTITUTION:The composition pb (Fe2/3.W1/3)x.(Fe1/2.Nb1/2)1-x.03 (wherein X is 0.2<=X<=0.5) contains 0.02 to 2 atom % of at least more than one of element Mn, Mg, Co, Fe, Cr, Ni, and Zn (the case where Zn or Ni is contained singly is removed). The starting material is used by mixing MnCO3.MgO.CoO.Cr2O3.NiO. ZnO suitably with PbO.Fe2O3.WO3.Nb2O. It is presintered, and then is sintered after crushing and forming under pressure. The purpose of limiting the value of X as 0.2<=X<=0.5 as described above is to keep the Curie point within a range of room temperature and the limitation of the amount of the subingredients is in considering the improvement of the dielectric loss and the specific resistance.
