Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the turn of coil by connecting two resistor elements having equivalent resistance in series between both side voltage lines in a single-phase three- wire circuit, then connecting the joint of said elements and the neutral wire through single detecting coil wound over current transformer core.
CONSTITUTION: Zero-phase current transformer 2 employing the both side voltage lines S, T in a single-phase three-wire line and the neutral line N as the primary winding is provided, then a detecting coil 13 is wound over said transformer 2 and high resistance elements 8, 9 having same resistance are connected in series between S and T then said coil 13 is connected in series between the joint P of resistor elements 8, 9 and the neutral wire N. Consequently the turn of coil can be reduced.
