Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an excellent package having good unwinding property economically, by improving the coherency of a specific amount of initial yarn to be the innermost layer of the package.
CONSTITUTION: A synthetic fiber multifilament yarn only in an amount to be 25% or less calculated from the intital winding part and to give a winding thickness of 1mm or more is subjected to coherency improving treatment, e.g. fluid treatment as described in the Japanese Patent Publication No. 36-12230 (1961).
