Abstract

PURPOSE: To make no distortion being caused in the output waveform even under a transient condition where the frequency changes, with a shifting of the phase eliminated, by constituting a triangular wave generating unit with a phase lock loop, having an equal dynamic characteristic to the sinusoidal wave generating unit.
CONSTITUTION: In the pulse width modulated inverter circuit, an output of the sinusoidal wave generating unit, having a phase lock loop 5 synchronized with an output of a three-phase distributor 4, and an output of the triangular wave generating unit 12, having an integer times frequency, are compared by a comparator 9 with an output voltage of sinusoidal wave shape obtained, when the triangular wave generating unit 12 is to construct the phase lock loop by such that, with output square wave of a voltage control oscillator 13 divided by a frequency divider 14, a comparison be made in a phase comparator 15 with the reference signal coming from the distributor 4.
