Abstract

PURPOSE: To utilize a system for a time-division switchboard, etc., effectively by simplifying the constitution with no need of a method for timing by allowing a difference in time in writing and by identifying collation disagreement occurring during it not as a fault.
CONSTITUTION: Transmission line 1 transmitting a time-division-multiplied channel is connected to channel systems 2 and 3 constituted as channel shift switches. When the same address of address control memory 8 or 9 is supposed to be read out at a cycle of 125μs, a collation disagreement output is sent out from collator circuit 14 at a cycle of 125μs while contents of memories 8 and 9 are different. For the purpose, the difference in the write time between memories 8 and 9 is made less than a cycle of 125μs, so that the number of times of disagreement will be one and below. In case of a fault, on the other hand, collation disagreement occurs at every time when addresses are read out at a cycle of 125μs. To discriminate between faults of memories 8 and 9, fault information is outputted only when collation disagreement occurs again within 125μs after the occurrent of the 1st collation disagreement.
